Detailed Solution

The biggest waterfall made by the river Kaveri is Shivanasamudra. River Kaveri provides the Shivanasamudra as the second-largest waterfall in India. Mysore, Bangalore, and the Kolar Gold Field are all supplied with the hydroelectric power produced by the falls. South of Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, the Kaveri drains into the Bay of Bengal after beginning in the Brahmagiri range of the Western Ghats. The river is around 760 kilometres long overall. Its main tributaries include Amravati, Bhavani, Hemavati, and Kabini. Its basin drains portions of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.
