Detailed Solution

The Bourbon dynasty, restored in 1815, was overthrown by liberal revolutionaries.
In many parts of Europe, including the states of Italy and Germany, the provinces of the Ottoman Empire, Ireland, and Poland, liberalism and nationalism became more associated with revolution as conservative administrations attempted to solidify their hold on power. The first insurrection occurred in France in July 1830. The liberal revolutionaries who formed a constitutional monarchy with Louis Philippe as its leader overthrew the restored regime of the Bourbon kings after the conservative reaction following 1815. Metternich reportedly said that when France sneezes, the rest of Europe becomes sick. Following a revolt in Brussels brought on by the July Revolution, Belgium seceded from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
