Detailed Solution

The Brahmaputra river is known as Tsangpo at its origin.
The river Brahmaputra, originating near Lake Mansarovar in Tibet, covers the territories of the Tibetan region of China, Bangladesh, and India. Originating from the Angsi glaciers, it grains into the Bay of Bengal. Known as Tsangpo at its origin in Tibet, several tributaries join the river before it enters the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Entering the Assam valley, several rivers join the river, and it is called the Brahmaputra from that point. In Bangladesh, the river is known as Jamuna. It merges with the river Padma, the name of the Ganges in Bangladesh, and becomes the river Meghna before it drains into the Bay of Bengal.
