Detailed Solution

The candidates elected from each constituency in the Lok Sabha elections become the Members of Parliament (MPs).
The Parliament consists of the President, Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. It consists of all the elected representatives who function to form, control and guide the government, and make laws. Parliament elections are held every five years, and elected representatives from each constituency become the MP (Member of Parliament) of the particular constituency. These MPs together then form the Parliament. After the Lok Sabha elections, a list is made showing how many MPs belong to each political party. The party or the coalition of parties winning at least 272 seats in the Lok Sabha form the government.
