Detailed Solution

The capital city of Magadha was Rajgriha. It is currently known as Rajgir and is located in Bihar. It was later relocated to Patliputra. Magadha was the most powerful of all kingdoms. Magadha benefited from a favourable geographical location during the Iron Age because the richest iron deposits were not far from Rajgir. The Magadha kings mined the iron and used it to manufacture numerous weapons and utensils. Magadha is located in the central Gangetic plain.
