Detailed Solution

The Cashmere goat gives us cashmere fibre.
Wool is derived from animals like sheep, goats, yak, camel, llama, and alpaca. Wool-producing animals have a thick layer of hair on their bodies to keep them warm during the chilly winter months. A lot of air is trapped by the hair (or wool). Air is a poor heat conductor. Wool fibres have a natural protective outer covering as their primary role is to shield the body of a sheep from the surrounding environment. This prevents any markings or stains from being absorbed, allowing dirt to lie on the surface and be readily cleaned.
