Given hyperbola x29y24=1....(1) where a2=9,b2=4  Any tangent to hyperbola is y=mx+9m24, →(1) Given  circle  x2+y28x=0 Equation of tangent in slope form is y=m(x-4)+16m2+16(2) Since (1 ) and (2) are same then m=25 common tangent is sub m in (1) y=25x+9(45)-4 y=25x+45 2x-5y+4=0
