Detailed Solution

The cities which had fire altars were Lothal and Kalibangan.
Lothal is located in the Ahmedabad district of Sarangwal. The site comprises a citadel, a lower town, and a dockyard, all characteristic of an Indus Valley metropolis. The ancient 's significance can be linked to Lothal's being a centre of bead production. Kalibangan is located in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, near Ganganagar. The Linga and Yoni, the Hindu god and goddess Shiva and Shakti, were the most remarkable findings from Kalibangan. A wooden furrow and tilled land, fortunately very well preserved, were discovered during excavation. Five fire altars were discovered at Kalibangan.
