        Gandhiji started his journey from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi. Many people participated in this Dandi March.
        Gandhiji started this movement against British rule. The Britishers prohibited Indians from collecting and selling salt.
        They have imposed a high tax on salt. This led to the civil disobedience movement in India.
