Detailed Solution

The Civil Disobedience Movement was started by Mohandas Gandhi. It was created against the unjust ruling of the British in the form of discrimination against Indians. Before the start of this movement, Gandhiji had announced his Eleven Demands to the then Viceroy, Irwin. He said that if Irwin did not accept these demands, he would launch a full-fledged movement against the British. As Irwin did not respond to these demands, Gandhi launched this movement in 1930.
