Let cost of each bat = Rs x
Cost of each ball = Rs. y
According to the question
Price of 7 bat and 6 balls = Rs. 3800

7 x + 6 y = 3800

6y = 3800 – 7x
Divide by 6, we get
y= (3800 – 7x)/6………………… (1)
Price of 3 bat and 5 balls =Rs 1750

3 x + 5 y = 1750

Put the value of y from equation (1),

+ ((3800- 7x)/6) = 1750
Multiply by 6 we get,
18x+19000-35x = 10500
-17x=-8500

x = - \frac{8500}{- 17}

x = 500

Put the value in equation (1)
y= (3800 – 7

500)/6
y= 300/6
y= 50
Thus, the cost of each bag = Rs 500 and cost of each balls = Rs. 50
Correct option is 4.
