The concept of the allegory of a nation occurred from personifying a Nation with a particular statue and face, which will be constant and not changeable. The artists of the 18th and 19th centuries assumed the face of the nation with the vision that “If the country/nation was a person”. Hence, they decided to create a face as the allegory that freedom, Nationalism, Justice, and liberty reflect.
