Detailed Solution

The Constitution of India was written by the Drafting committee under the chairmanship of Dr B.R.Ambedkar. Seven people made up the Drafting Committee: Alladi Krishnaswami Ayyar, N. Gopalaswami, B.R. Ambedkar, K.M. Munshi, Mohammad Saadulla, B.L. Mitter, and D.P. Khaitan. The Drafting Committee chose B.R. Ambedkar as its chairman at its first meeting on August 30, 1947. The Drafting Committee started to carefully review the Draft Constitution that the Constitutional Advisor, B.N. Rau, had created by the end of October 1947. On February 21, 1948, it made many adjustments and gave the President of the Constituent Assembly the Draft Constitution.
The Draft Constitution(s) created was the subject of most discussions in the Constituent Assembly. One hundred fourteen of the Constituent Assembly's 166 sessions discussed the Draft Constitution(s).
