The constitution provides a Model of Code of Conduct for the conduct of fair elections. For example, if the supporters of a candidate distribute blankets in slums in return for the promise to vote for the candidate, it is an unfair practice because it influences the masses through bribes/ gifts; doing so will lead to his rejection by the court. All the political parties have agreed to the code of conduct. According to this model, if any candidate does not abide by the rules, the candidate can be rejected by the court even if he wins.
