Detailed Solution

Given as follows,
Cost of an article is Rs.15,500.
Repair cost of an article is Rs.450.
The articles are sold for Profit 15% of total Cost.
Calculating the Cost Price of an article after repair work:
The shopkeeper sells the article after repairing it.
So, Cost price = Cost of an article + Repair Cost
=15,500+450 =15,950
Hence, the Cost Price of an article after repair work is Rs.15,950.
Given, profit is 15% of cost price
Profit= 15 100 ×cos t price = 15 100 ×15950 =2392.50
Hence the profit is Rs.2392.50.
And the selling price of the article after repair is 15%.
Selling Price = Cost Price + Profit
=15,950+2392.50 =18342.50
Hence, the Selling price of an article is Rs.18, 342.50.
Therefore, option 2 is correct.
