Detailed Solution

Pulses, wheat, barley, peas, rice and sesame are the crops that the Indus people cultivated
Diverse crops were cultivated in the Indus region. The major crops were pulses, wheat, barley, peas, rice, and sesame.  There was evidence that wheat, barley, and peas were grown in the winter season. And other crops like rice, millet, and tropical beans were grown in the summer. The research team used a radio-carbon dating system to know when these people started cultivating. Indus civilization was first identified in 1921. It took place at Harappa in the Punjab region. And then in 1922, it took place at  Mohenjo-Daro (Mohenjodaro). Mohenjodaro was near the Indus River in the Sindh (Sind) region. These places are now present in Pakistan.
