In old age eyes of the people becomes milky and cloudy. This condition is known as cataracts which can be corrected by eye surgery. Whereas myopia is known as nearsightedness, in myopia, people can see objects near to them clearly but have trouble seeing objects placed far, whereas, in hypermetropia, far objects can be seen clearly but have trouble seeing nearby objects.
