Detailed Solution

The Dhangars are a pastoral community of Maharashtra that moved in the monsoons towards the Konkan Region.
During the monsoon season, the Dhangars relocated to the Konkan region. People in the Dhangars community worked as shepherds, blanket weavers, and buffalo herders. They are also known as the herding caste and are located in various Indian states, most of which are in Maharashtra. During the monsoon, Maharashtra's territory was semi-arid, implying minimal rainfall and poor soil, so the land was turned into thorny scrub.
