r= 14 2 =7 cm  and h=24 cm.  
We know that the curved surface area of a cone is πr r 2 + h 2 ,   where r is the radius of the base and h is the cone's height.
CSA=π×7× 7 2 + 24 2 cm 2 = 22 7 ×7× 625 cm 2 =22×25 cm 2 =550 cm 2
