Given that the diameter of one end of the bucket is,
D = 44 cm
R=22 cm   And  the diameter of the other end is,
d=24cm 2r=24cm   r=12 cm    Given that the height of the bucket is h=35cm  .
The shape of the bucket looks like as frustum of a cone.
So, the capacity of the bucket will be equal to the volume of the frustum of the cone.
Therefore, the capacity of the bucket is,
= 1 3 πh R 2 + r 2 +Rr   = 1 3 ×π×35 (22) 2 + (12) 2 +22×12   = 35π 3 [484+144+264]   = 35π×892 3   = 35×22×892 3×7   =32706.6  cm 3  
As we know that 1000  cm 3 =1 L  .
So, the capacity of bucket =32.7 L   Therefore, option 2 is correct.
