The raw materials used in synthetic fibres like nylon and polyester are first broken down and then reformed as compared to the raw materials used in rayon.
Synthetic fibres are ones that are created utilising chemicals artificially. Rayon is referred to as synthetic silk. It is created from pulped wood. It is far less expensive than the original silk fibres. Since rayon is made by first disassembling and then reforming the original raw material, cellulose, it is also referred to as regenerated fibre. While polyester is made from petroleum and nylon entirely from chemicals.
