Detailed Solution

It is given a trapezium.
Distance between parallel sides= 19cm
Area= 760 cm 2
Difference between parallel sides = 8cm.
Let the parallel sides of trapezium be x cm, x + 8 cm.
We know that,
Area of Trapezium = 1 2 ×   (Sum of Parallel side) ×  distance between parallel sides.
760 =  1 2 (x + x + 8)×19 80=2x+8 72=2x 36=x  x=36 cm
One parallel side = 36 cm
Other parallel side = 36 + 8 = 44cm
Therefore, the correct option is 1.
