Detailed Solution

The direction of current in the coil at one end of an electromagnet is clockwise. This end of the electromagnet will be the South Pole.
A current-carrying loop functions similarly to an electromagnet. The polarity of this magnet can be determined using the clock face rule. The clock face rule states, “If the direction of current in the front face of a circular wire is anticlockwise, then the direction of current in the back face of this circular wire will be clockwise.” in simple words, if the current flows anticlockwise, the face of the loop shows the North Pole. If, on the other hand, the current flows clockwise, the face of the loop shows the South Pole.
