Detailed Solution

To find the distance between two points , we can use distance formula:

d =  (x2-x1)2 +(y2-y1)2

Where (x1, y1) and (x2,y2) coordinates of two points.

Given points are (9, -12 ) and (0, 0), as origins coordinate is (0, 0).

Here, (x1, y1) = (9, -12) and (x2,y2) = (0,0)

 On substitution, we get:
=(0-9)2+(0+12)2
=(9)2+(-12)2
=81+144
=225
=15

The distance of the point (9,-12) from origin will be 15 Units.
