Detailed Solution

The division of power at different levels of government is a form of vertical division of power sharing.
In the vertical division of power-sharing, powers are divided at different levels of government, such as the Central (or Union government), the Provincial (or State governments), and Municipalities and Panchayats. The division of power is distributed among the governments (or administrative bodies or institutions) at different levels. There is a hierarchy in such a case of power division. Although, some powers and functions are reserved for particular bodies. However, in standard and general terms, the central government's rules hold more power than the provincial governments.
