Detailed Solution

The early Turkish rulers began ruling in the Indian subcontinent and in Delhi from the year 1206. The true founder of the Delhi Sultanate was Muhammad Ghori. Muhammad Gori and his slave commanders destroyed the rulers of Delhi, Kanauj, Bengal, and other Indian subcontinental provinces. However, his death in 1206 came as a surprise. Following the death of Muhammad Ghori in 1206 A.D., Qutbuddhin Aybak assumed control. He ascended to the throne of Delhi, ushering in the era of the Delhi Sultanate. According to accounts, he was the first Early Turkish ruler to conquer the Indian subcontinent.
