For that given is:

d=1.2 cm i.e. r=1.22=0.6 cm      

Length = 50 cm ,      R=5.55×103 ohm

Now, we have to calculate α

area=πr2 =3.14×(0.6)2 =1.13 cm2 area =1.13 cm2

We have to find out resistivity ρ=?

Now, by putting all above values in formula we get

R=ρla ρ=R×al=5.55×103ohm×1.13 cm250 cm ρ=1.2543×102ohm cm ρ=125.43 ohm cm
