Detailed Solution

The given equation is (3x)4+(2x)4=(52x)4

Let a=(3x) , b=(2x)  a4+b4=(a+b)4

a4+b4=(a2+2ab+b2)(a2+2ab+b2)

a4+b4=a4+4a3b+6a2b2+4ab3+b4

4a2b+6a2b2+4ab3=0

2ab(2a2+3ab+2b2)=0

a=0  (or)  b=0  (or)  2a2+3ab+2b2=0

(3x)4=0 (or) (2x)4=0 (or)2(3x)2+3(3x)(2x)+2(2x)2=0

x=3  (or) x=2 (or)  7x235x+44=0

Since  7x235x+44=0  has non-real roots,

therefore, the given equation have only two real roots.
