The Father of the Indian Constitution was Dr B.R. Ambedkar. He is regarded as the father of the Indian Constitution as it was he who supervised the document.
 He was the Chairman of the Drafting Committee. He played a crucial role in the framing of the constitution of India. It was him under whose supervision the Constitution was framed and the document was finalized. Dr B.R. Ambedkar was profoundly referred to as Babasaheb. He belonged to a Marathi-speaking Dalit family and had fought for Dalit rights. He was a lawyer and economist by profession and he is widely known for being a leader of the Dalits.
