The features of the Dutch scientific forestry in Java are?

In the 19th century the Dutch enacted forest laws in Java to control the people and the territory. These forest laws restricted villagers' access to forests. 

Dutch scientific forestry for the first time was introduced in Java by the Dutch to control the access of teak and non-teak forests in larger numbers. 

Villagers were restricted to cultivate on forest lands, with the minimum cutting of woods only for making boats and houses.
