Detailed Solution

The Dutch made a settlement at Masulipatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
In the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh's Krishna District, the Dutch established their first factory in 1605. Additionally, the area is well known for its Kalamkari textile trade (painting with natural and vegetable dyes on silk and cotton fabric with a bamboo pen). The Dutch government authorised the formation of the United Archipelago Company in 1602, which allowed European nations to trade islands, including India. In the year 1605, the Dutch established their first factory in Masulipatnam, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The second-largest port in the province is Masaulipatam, which was once governed by Dutch and East Indies businesses. Following the construction of the initial plant in Masulipatnam, they built different factories at Surat (1616), Bimilipatam (1641), and Chinsurah (1653).
