Detailed Solution

The first Urdu novels began to be written from the 19th century.
Nazir Ahmad Dehlvi penned Mirat-ul-Uroos, the first Urdu novel, in 1869. Two Muslim sisters, Akbari and Asghari, served as the central characters in this book's plot. People started discussing social practices and norms that were evolving in the early nineteenth century. The invention of new communication technologies was a significant contributing factor to this. Books, newspapers, magazines, pamphlets, and leaflets were all printed for the first time. Regular people could read these, and many could also write and express themselves in their native tongue.
