The author listening to the music of the flute which was being played by the flute seller, he get a  reminder of different different  kinds of flutes. He talked about many kinds of flutes like the ‘cross-flutes’,  ‘reed new’, 'the recorder' ,  ‘shakuhachi’ from Japan and ' Hindustani bansuri’. Other flutes are identified  by their tonal quality like ‘the clear and breathy flutes’ from South America and the ‘high-pitched’ flutes which are belong to China.
