The Fleming right-hand rule is used to identify the flow direction.

Right-hand thumb rule:

If we held the current-carrying conductor in the right hand with the thumb pointing in the direction of the current, the fingers circled the wire in the direction of the magnetic field.

Fleming's right-hand rule (for generators) displays the direction of induced current when a conductor attached to a circuit moves in a magnetic field. It may be used to determine which direction the current in a generator's windings is flowing.
