Let diagonals be

d_{1}

= 45 and

d_{2}

= 30.
The area of rhombus is given as

= 12 × d 1 × d 2

.
Area of one rhombus shaped tile,

⇒ 12 × d 1 × d 2

⇒ 12 × 45 × 30

⇒ 675 cm 2

Therefore, area of 3000 rhombus shaped tiles is given as,
Area of 3000 rhombus shaped tile is;

⇒ 3000 × Area of one rhombus shaped tile

⇒ 3000 × 675

⇒ 2025000 cm 2

We know that

1 m 2 = 10000 cm 2

Area of 3000 rhombus shaped tiles

= 202500010000

Area of 3000 rhombus shaped tiles

= 202.5 m 2

The cost of polishing the floor per square meter is given to be Rs.4
Hence the total cost is given as,
Total cost of polishing the floor

= 202.50 × 4

Total cost of polishing the floor = Rs. 810.
