Median = Middle observation

Median = Size of ($\frac{n}{2}$) $+$ ( $\frac{n}{2}$$+$1) th observation /2

Mode = Most repeated observation

Let the given data is  2, 3, 4, 5, 0, 1, 3, 3, 4, 3

(i) Mean = ($\frac{2 + 3 +4 + 5 + 0 + 1 + 3 + 3 +4 +3}{10}$)

=  28/10

= 2.8

(ii) Median: For finding the median we first arrange the observation in ascending order as follows,

Ascending order : 0, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5

Median = middle observation

=  Size of ($\frac{n}{2}$) $+$ ( $\frac{n}{2}$$+$1) th observation /2

= size of (10/2) $+$ Size of (10/2 $+$ 1)th / 2

= size of (5^th) $+$ Size of (6^th) / 2

= ( 3 $+$ 3)/2

= 6/2

= 3

(iii) mode = 3

because 3 repeated 4 times.
