Given,
Frequency (f) = 440 Hz,
Number of vibrations completed by turning fork (n) = 30, 
Speed of sound in air  (v) = 352 m/s.
Formula,
Time period (T) = 1/f
                             =1/440 s
Time for n = 30 vibrations is given as
= nT
    =30/440 s
    =3/44 s
Therefore,
Distance travelled by sound wave in a given time,
s=vt
   =352×(3/44)
   =24 m.
