The grand temples of Thanjavur and Gangaikondacholapuram were built by Rajaraja I and Rajendra I. They were the most well-known kings of the Cholas. These temples contained a ton of fine art and architecture. Some of the best structures were created by the Chola dynasty. They possessed some of the greatest and best architecture ever built.
