Detailed Solution

Concept: When gases like CO2, and CH4 increase in the atmosphere, the temperature of our planet earth also increases. When sunlight heats the surface of the earth, it sends back part of the heat but some portion stays trapped here. So when the temperature of the earth increases because of the greenhouse effect, the energy is absorbed by the concentrated gas.
The causes of the greenhouse effect are-( a) fossil fuel burning,( b) farming,( c) deforestation,( d) population proliferation, and sanitary landfill and manufacturing waste. There are numerous gases that are accountable for the greenhouse effect on Earth. Since the heat is taken up by gases and radiated, the absorption of these gases like carbon dioxide, methane gas, and ozone increases the intensity on the earth’s surface.
Hence, option 3 is correct.
