The Gujjar Mandapas have a height of ten to eleven thousand feet. Jammu and Kashmir's nomads are referred to as Gujjar. Jammu and Kashmir are the home of the Gujjar and the Bakarwal. The shelters used by Gujjar cattle herders are known as Gujjar Mandapas. Because they used bamboo and grass to construct their houses, Mandapas was about 10,000 to 11,000 feet above the plane landing. All cattle reside in these Mandapas, but because buffalo are too heavy to scale that height, they also constructed a mandap for buffalo at their employment.
