Detailed Solution

The Himalayan river receives water from rain as well as melted snow. The Himalayan rivers are supplied with water by glaciers that have melted due to precipitation and snowfall. Ganga, Indus, and Brahmaputra are the three principal Himalayan rivers. It has many rivers, and each of them has three unique characteristics. Because of their size, the rivers had to flow thousands of kilometres before they could overflow into the sea. The rivers in the Himalayas go further because they drain a vast area before reaching the sea. The Himalayan River behaves differently depending on the season. During the rainy season, the Himalayan rivers become out of control and cause a flood.
