Detailed Solution

Himadri, Inner Himalayas, and the great Himalayas are the names of the northernmost range. The Himalayas are India's youngest fold mountain range stretched over the Northern borders. These mountain ranges are west-east from the Indus River to the Brahmaputra. These mountains are one of the most rugged mountain barriers in the world. The northernmost range of the Himalayas is known as the Himadri, Inner Himalayas, or the Great Himalayas. It is the most continuous range of peaks with an average height of 6000 metres. It contains all of the prominent Himalayan peaks. South of the Himadri range is the Himachal or lesser Himalaya. The outermost range of the Himalayas is called the Shiwaliks, with an altitude between 900-1100 metres.
