Detailed Solution

The Hindu Succession Act was introduced in 2005.
To repeal gender-discriminatory clauses from the Hindu Succession Act of 1956, the Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act 2005 was passed. According to the amendment, a girl who is a coparcener by birth acquires the same rights as a coparcener as an individual as do sons. Now, the daughter will have the same rights to the coparcenary property, the ancestral home of the Hindu unbroken family.
