The Hindustan Socialist Republican Army was founded at a meeting in Ferozshah Kotla Ground in Delhi.
The socialist-leaning young men decided to create a national-revolutionary organisation. Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, and others were prominent among them. These young revolutionaries were all of a secular mindset. They founded the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association at a conference at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi in 1928. Bhagat Singh, Jatin Das, and Ajay Ghosh were some of the important leaders of this association. Through dramatic activities in various parts of India, the HSRA targeted additional symbols of British power.
