Detailed Solution

The houses in Mehrgarh were made of mud and brick.
Early inhabitants of Mehrgarh resided in mud-brick homes, kept their grain in granaries, crafted tools from the region's copper ore, and coated their large containers with bitumen baskets. Residents of the period invested a lot of time and effort into their crafts, which included metalworking, bead making, tanning, and flint knapping. However, it is possible that Mehrgarh was South Asia's first known agricultural hub. The earliest known instance of the lost-wax method is a 6,000-year-old copper amulet in the form of a wheel discovered at Mehrgarh. The charm was made of unalloyed copper and was a rare invention that was eventually abandoned.
