Hypermetropia is caused because the curvature of the eye lens becomes too small and the eyeball is shortened. In hypermetropia, a person cannot see nearby objects clearly. But he can see distance objects clearly due to this Hypermetropia also known as far-sightedness. It can be treated with the convex lens of the right focal length. The center of a convex lens is thicker than the edge. It is also known as a converging lens.
