Detailed Solution

The Indian state has a federal form of government. Federalism is a type of democratic government in which the Central Government and the State Governments share or divide the power to run the country. Most of the time, these two levels of government don't work together. In India, there are state and central governments, as well as a village government called Panchayati Raj. There are lists in the Constitution that show what each level of government can pass laws about. In addition, the Constitution says that each level of government can get money based on the work it does. All Indians are subject to the laws and laws that are proposed by both of these levels of government.
