Detailed Solution

The industrialist in Victorian Britain didn’t want to introduce machines. Hand labour lasted longer than machines in many enterprises in nineteenth-century Europe because machinery was expensive, ineffective, difficult to maintain, and required substantial capital inputs. Seasonal business requires seasonal labour. Machine-made companies could not satisfy consumer expectations for unique forms, colours, and styles. Only human powers are capable of producing intricate shapes and textures. A variety of products were produced by hand labour. Computers were employed primarily to produce homogeneous, standardised goods for a consumer market. Aristocrats and other upper-class Victorians preferred periodicals that were entirely handwritten.
