The intensity of an earthquake is measured on the Richter scale.
 Earthquake is a natural phenomenon which is caused by plate tectonics. If the delocation of the plates is at a higher level, then it may cause destruction. Hence, the destruction done can be measured by knowing the intensity of the earthquake and to do so the Richter scale is used. “Richter scale can be defined as the scale that is used to measure the intensity of an earthquake. It is the largest wiggle on the recording, but other magnitude scales measure different parts of the earthquake.”
