The Justice party of Madras was formed by three non-brahmins. When the non-cooperation movement was launched in India, most of the people started participating in it but the justice party of Madras had not participated in NCM. Because, at that time the council election was started by the British government and the justice party thought to not let go of this opportunity to enter in the council and politics of the nation. The Justice party was the non-brahmins party who were against the domination of Brahmins over the region as well as in council. For the justice party entering the council was very important because this was an important way of gaining power and access to the council.
